Almost every motorist on the road wants to make their vehicle, and themselves by extension, seem special and unique. They want to stand out from the crowd and be noticed. A private registration plate can easily make that happen by publicly honouring the driver's originality. Blending in with every other passing car is certainly not the name of the game.

Vehicles are luxuries which are appreciated by many people though it’s a big disappointment that not all people can afford them since they cost a lot of money. Cars are comfortable because one stores music of their choice and they can listen to any time they are traveling whether day time or evening time. When it comes to driving, safety on the road does not only involve people driving carefully and observing the road safety rules, it involves much more than that. My van is my office - it's where I make my living - it's got all the best van lighting, accessories, shelving and racking. And so I do spend a lot of time on the road and observe much about other drivers.
Many different things about driving tend to aggravate people. One of the most frustrating things is unexpected construction zones or detours, especially if you are in an unknown or unfamiliar area. High gas prices, holiday traffic, and aggressive drivers are just a few other aspects that can irritate even the most patient of drivers. When these are all combined, it can lead to one of the most stressful car rides you have ever had. The most important things to remember on this type ride are to keep your patience and keep a cool head. While the situation is anything but relaxing, you must keep a cool head to be able to think and anticipate other driver’s next moves. The more patient and relaxed you are, the easier it is to pay attention to necessary road signs or traffic signals, helping to ensure you do not get lost or get into an accident, which will only make the situation worse. If you are unable to relax, it is recommended that you pull over and take a breather from the mayhem until you are able to. |

Some people are terrified of flying. In fact, this is not an uncommon fear. Statistically, more people die in car crashes than in airplanes. However, the statistics do not always help people calm down and be more rational. I think the fear is based in the realization that we have no control. Someone else, the pilot, is in complete control of our lives for the duration of the flight. Some people hate losing control. It is probably those same people who do not allow others to drive them anywhere. I do not relate to that level of the fear of flying. I do relate though to the fear of being at sea! The thought of being in constant motion, the paranoia of drowning, the fear of getting sea sick and not getting back on solid land for hours… all of those fears would overtake me. It surprised me then to learn that there are so many companies that ship seafreight! That just never would have occurred to me! I suppose though that shipping large items such as a car must be done via boat. I suppose too that shipping items via sea, instead of air, would be much cheaper. I wonder how much commerce is done via boat, instead of air. |

A short while ago my sister's coworkers were thinking of perhaps moving from a 950 square foot townhome in Sarasota, Florida. Everyone has their own fascination, different strokes for different folks. Alicia has always been fascinated with lettersets and stickers. Mike has always been fascinated with computers and other peripherals. Lucy has been fascinated with novels especially those written by Sidney Sheldon. Misty and Vince have both been fascinated with anime and manga while Tina has always been fascinated with Korea novellas and just about every Taiwanese TV series. Vic on the other hand has always been fascinated with cars and for as long as I can remember he has been reading and collecting car magazines since we were in elementary. Somehow I cannot believe his parents actually supported him. Vic once told me that his fascination includes the car vehicle history as well then proceeded to the various vehicle types and what not. Despite his fascination with fast cars since budget constraints prevent him from buying the model he wants he settled with a Toyota Vios black model and it seems to work just fine. Of course his collection has increased three folds and I have no idea what he will do with all of them. |
