INSTANCES WHEN REWIRING IS NOT THE ANSWER

There are times in our lives when we think that a problem at hand can be solved by doing something to counter it. At times this works and other times it does not. When living in a certain house a few years ago, i figured out that even though there was no clear evidence of bad wiring, the house was old and rewiring it would make it look newer, at least to my eyes. When i did the consultations fro an electrician i well knew, he pointed out that the fact that the house looked old does not mean it needed rewiring. After checking out all the areas with sockets and found out that there was no over heating, he advised me not to go ahead and recommended that i do something else that would improve the way my house looked. Which i did by changing the decor and doing a paint job. If you have only one socket with a problem it would be also unnecessary to rewire the whole house. When you want to remove the fuse box and install a circuit breaker, you do not need to do a rewiring either. Ask your electrician more on this topic.
