Living in a Typical Suburban House in Perth West Australia

I'm living in a shared house in Perth West Australia and sharing the rent on a 3 bedroom house built in the 1970s. The decor is very ugly and old fashioned and there is no open plan living - e.g. with exposed joists - which is unusual for Australia today. The great thing about the house is that 2 adults can live harmoniously without having to share everything. I have my own fridge and 2 rooms to use and we share the extension room which has its own bar and a few chairs and tables. It's ideal for entertaining and no worries if you make a mess as the room is meant to be trashed as there is really nothing of any value in it. The other great things are the huge gardens to enjoy summer and we are located next to a huge supermarket for convenience. We are also next to a bus route to the city and beach and there's plenty space for 3 cars to park. You could easily do a lot worse than live here.
