Pregnancy Gave Me a New Lease Of Life

I gave a birth to a child. When I knew I was pregnant, I was too overjoyed beyond words, and I announced the great news to my husband, close friends and relatives. I was on cloud nine for the first few months. Then it hit me at around the 3rd month - I had to prepare for this new arrival. I bought myself some maternity tops to prepare for the 2nd and 3rd trimesters. When I got to that point of my pregnancy, I was really starting to feel like a mother and with that feeling was also a sense of responsibility. The baby was no longer an idea, a notion - it was a real thing, kicking me, and moving around!

When my little boy arrived, I got that very same feeling again that I had in the first few months - such a wonderful high to see my son look at me!
