I read a lot on the Internet about people taking old unused computers and turn them in to media servers and then connecting them to their television. how to connect media server to tv, you can connect your media server to your television either wired or wireless, but if you go wireless you will need something very cute television to pick up the feed from your media server side like an Xbox 360 with WiFi. The biggest problem I have found when looking up media servers is a way to change the media that you want to play on your television like some kind of remote control. You can have the computer or media server to your television with AV cables if you going to hook it up wired but if you going to go wireless you will need something to pick up the signal and transferred to you television like one of these WiFi game consoles. I don't think cooking it up to your television, but the biggest problem is working your media server with something that is like a remote control.
