Getting motivated to do anything can sometimes be difficult. We tend to get up and go to work because we know that if we do not, we will not have enough money to pay our bills. However, there is not so much motivation to do other things.
When we think about looking after our body, we should be really motivated to get fit because it makes such a difference to us health wise. However, somehow it seems easy not to think about this and just to ignore fitness altogether or find excuses not to do it. It does take energy, but we find the energy to do our job and so we need to also find the energy to keep fit.
One thing to help is to write down all the reasons why keeping fit is so good for you. Place them somewhere prominent and this will act as a constant reminder as to why it is a good thing to do it. Make sure that you write down things that will motivate you. You will know that it is important to do it for health reasons, but you may actually do it because you want to look good. It does not matter why because you will still be doing it and that is the important thing. So write down things that will personally motivate you and make sure that you look at the list ever day and that will give you the energy that you need to exercise like in boot camp.
There are other things that you can do to motivate yourself as well. Maybe have a treat when you complete an exercise session, exercise with a friend so that you encourage each other or sign up to some regular classes. It is a great idea to try to get all of the family doing some extra exercise.
